The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing certain Americans they don’t want freedom.

I cringe when I hear my left-wing friends saying the government should take away guns. These are the same people who don’t want the government taking away a woman’s right to an abortion.

I cringe when my right-wing friends say a woman shouldn’t be allowed to wear a burka. These are the same guys who want open carry.

Just stop it.

That guy carrying the gun would likely die for your freedoms and protect you with it before he would do anything to harm you with it.

That lady wearing the burka is probably super awesome and would give you a homemade cookie on Fourth of July because Muslims in this nation are so friendly and (for the most part) very patriotic.

People exercising their rights are not demons. They aren’t evil. They are LITERALLY law-abiding citizens TRYING TO SET AN EXAMPLE to others that they are FREE to do the same.

This is a beautiful thing.

Same thing with speech. Some want to silence Kimmel but exalt Kirk and vice versa.

Stop it.

Instead of trying to SILENCE each other how about trying to LISTEN to each other? I LOVE hearing both sides of issues. Super incredible to get those perspectives.

You know who DOESN’T want you to listen to both sides?

THE PARTIES.

They want you on their side only. Under control. Mindless and slobbering. Incapable of understanding the other side. Thinking they’re evil. That way you OBEY THEM.

They want to make you a SLAVE.

NOPE.
