So the FCC under Chairman Carr has been pretty aggressive (many would say too aggressive) threatening licenses and trying to influence content on networks like ABC and others.

I was really surprised about that because I’ve known Carr for a while and followed him closely since he was a staffer for a former chairman and he really never gave me the “censorship” vibe.

But in a recent interview he revealed quite a bit about what past FCC administrations had apparently done behind the scenes.

Carr claims Biden’s FCC tried to revoke Fox broadcasting licenses and pressured cable providers to drop Fox News, OAN and Newsmax.

Now I don’t know if that’s true but that’s a very serious allegation. And IF it is true it stands to reason Carr would want to push back on “left wing” content from broadcaster– even though the first amendment prohibits that sort of thing.

Bottom line is it looks like BOTH SIDES are now threatening the first amendment and trying to control what Americans are watching/hearing. This is a serious threat to our freedom and not something anyone should be taking laying down.

As all of you hopefully know by now I am running for Congress in California’s 47th district.

We have two weeks to the primary. Going to do all I can to raise awareness of this issue between now and then.
