So its that time of the campaign.

Map is up.

Ground game is moving.

We need 500 volunteers– and we’re already about 10% of the way there.

Have knocked on hundreds of doors this week.

Pretty amazing to get out there and meet people.

Here is the NUMBER one thing people are saying:

They’re center left or center right and the parties have completely abandoned them.

They are DYING for a successful independent campaign. They’re just not sure it can work.

But with California’s jungle primary it can ABSOLUTELY WORK if people understand the voting mechanics here.

In November it will be Dave Min ONE ON ONE with somebody. And that somebody will instantly get the Republican vote– its automatic as they arent going to vote for Min.

The problem for Republicans is they can’t win after Prop 50. 0% chance.

But since those votes won’t go to Min they’ll necessarily go to me if I am on the ballot.

That means all I have to do is pick off 10% of Democrats who are tired of Gavin Newsom’s gas and all the frivolous lawsuits out there. Educated folks who want a better education for their kids and clearer laws for their business.

This is EASY.

As I said when I started this process– I will win 80% of the vote in November. I am simply the better qualified candidate. Period. This is common sense.

But the primary is the challenge.

But like I have said all along– Americans are smart.

And with every door I knock on I see that glimmer of recognition. That glimmer of hope.

They WANT to believe.

And we’re going to give them something to believe in.
